Classic banana bread recipe highlighted with vanilla and pecan



Banana Nut Bread Preparation:

  1.  Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Add sugar and butter to mixing bowl. Cream with hand mixer.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Stir in bananas.
  5. Sift salt, baking soda, baking powder, and all-purpose flour together in small bowl.
  6. Stir in sifted flour mixture.
  7. Mix ingredients well.
  8. Stir in vanilla extract and pecans or walnuts.
  9. Pour banana bread mixture into buttered bread loaf pan.
  10. Bake 45-50 minutes.
  11. Allow to cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
